How does the boat get back from Hawaii?

I have been asked by a few people if I am sailing the boat back from Hawaii after the race.  The answer is NO!!  It would be a long, wet, miserable sail to sail my small boat back from Hawaii.  Small boats like mine get shipped back on a container ship.  We sent the trailer over from Oakland by ship, hoist the boat out of the water in Kaneohe, and then the boat on the trailer goes back on a different container ship.  We took the trailer down to the Oakland port Friday.  It leaves on July 7th and will likely arrive in Honolulu on the 12th.  A guy named Matt picks up the trailer and brings it to Kaneohe where we load the boat, lower the mast and get it all secure for shipping.  Matt will then drive the boat and trailer to Honolulu and leaves on August 5th.  It will arrive back in Oakland around August 10th and then we bring Hang 20 back to brickyard, put her mast up, unload, and we are ready to sail again!
